Description
Bertani's Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena Villa Arvedi was born in vineyards located on the hills of Valpantena, north of Verona.
It is produced with Rondinella and Corvina Veronese grapes, harvested manually in mid-September. After destemming and crushing, the grapes are left to ferment at a very low initial temperature of 4-5 ° C, reaching 22 ° C in the final phase. The wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels and a small part in oak barriques for about 30 months, before being bottled.
Villa Arvedi is characterized by an intense red color with purple nail. The wine has an important bouquet, with intense aromas of very ripe cherry, black cherry and berries enriched with pleasant spicy notes and hints of dried fruit. On the palate it is rich, with the sweet taste of cherry and the spicy notes typical of Valpatena. Wine with an excellent structure with a soft tannic texture where the flavor of red fruits is found.
Perfect to accompany red meats, game and hunting, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
