Description

The Barbaresco Asili was born from a small plot of one hectare on top of the hill of Asili. It is a Cru at 290 meters above sea level, with soils characterized by the presence of marl of Sant'Agata, a very fine clay mixed with limestone.

These are Nebbiolo grapes vinified in purity. Both fermentation and maceration take place in steel vats at controlled temperatures. Refine 2 years in wood and 6 months in bottle.

It has a bright garnet red color. The nose is characterized by elegant notes of rose, spices and leather. The taste is full and enveloping with a velvet finish.

It expresses its best when accompanied with a structured first course such as tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms.
