Description
The GD Vajra winery is located in the Vergne district of Barolo and has splendid parcels in the famous crus of the municipalities of Barolo, Novello and Serralunga. Barolo Albe is a label with a classic face, which as per the ancient custom of the Langhe, comes from an assembly. The grapes are harvested in three vineyards, with different exposures and altitudes, grown in the municipal area of Barolo: Coste di Vergne, La Volta and Fossati.
At the end of fermentation, which takes place with a long maceration on the skins of over a month, the wine ages for 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Intense and elegant, it has a garnet color and expresses aromas of cherry, currant, morello cherry, floral and balsamic nuances. The taste is rich and complex, with fine tannins and a fresh and very persistent finish.
To be combined with game, roasts, stewed meat.
