Description
This Barolo from the Boschi dei Signori line of Bosio is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the hills of Langhe, an iconic area for the production of great Piedmontese wines. The combination of the unique terroir and winemaking experience allows for a wine with significant structure and distinctive elegance.
The vinification involves a long maceration to extract the maximum aromatic and tannic qualities of the Nebbiolo, followed by aging in wood that imparts complexity and depth. The maturation process enhances the finesse and balance of the wine, giving it a unique and sophisticated character.
In the glass, it presents a deep garnet red color. The bouquet is rich and enveloping, with notes of ripe plum and berries, accompanied by spicy and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with elegant tannins and a long, harmonious finish that leaves a velvety sensation.
It pairs perfectly with savory dishes such as braised meats, red meats, and aged cheeses, enhancing their complexity and aromatic intensity.
