Description
This Barolo is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the historic Barolo production area, with particular reference to the Cerequio cru, renowned for its propensity to produce wines of great elegance and character. The unique soil and climate context contributes to the creation of a wine with a marked territorial identity.
Vinification involves destemming and fermentation with skin maceration for at least 10-12 days in temperature-controlled steel tanks, accompanied by regular pump-overs. Aging takes place in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a period in stainless steel tanks, and then further bottle aging.
Visually, it boasts an intense garnet red color with orange reflections. The nose is notable for its intense and complex balsamic, vegetal, floral, and spicy aromas, enriched by hints of incense, wax, tobacco, and coffee, all blending with a delicate ethereal note. The palate is full, elegant, and harmonious, with long persistence and perfect balance.
It pairs excellently with red meat dishes, game, roasts, or aged and flavorful cheeses.
