Description

Barolo Cerretta by Agricola Brandini originates from the Cerretta vineyard located in Serralunga d’Alba, made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, and precisely expresses the bold and structured character of this prestigious cru. It is a wine of great personality, able to combine power and elegance, representing one of the most authentic expressions of the territory.

Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with maceration on the skins for about four weeks and frequent pump-overs. The wine is aged for an extended period in large oak barrels, followed by several additional months in the bottle, allowing the wine to develop complexity, balance, and finesse.

It shows a garnet red color, tending towards orange with age. On the nose, it opens after a brief oxygenation with notes of leather and eucalyptus, accompanied by spicy and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is broad yet balanced, with a well-defined structure and a harmonious integration of components, leading to a persistent finish.

Pairs well with structured dishes such as red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
