Description

The Beaune 1er Cru Les Perrières from Domaine de Montille is a Pinot Noir of great elegance and structure, originating from a small parcel of only 0.64 hectares situated on marly and very stony soils at the top of the Beaune hillside, near the Les Fèves climat. This Premier Cru embodies the typical minerality and depth of its terroir, offering a refined and long-lived expression of the Côte de Beaune.

Vinification involves fermentation in large wooden vats, using 33% whole cluster to preserve freshness and complexity. The aging process takes place in barrels, 20% of which are new, respecting the identity of the fruit and soil. Organic and biodynamic viticulture reflects the respectful and rigorous approach of the domaine.

Upon tasting, the wine presents with a straight and vertical profile; on the nose, delicate woody notes are accompanied by fresh red fruits. On the palate, it is already soft and elegant today, with silky tannins and beautiful energy that promises a bright future after 3-5 years of bottle aging.

Perfectly paired with lamb rack or roasted duck.
