Description

The Blond from the Steenbrugge brewery

Blond is a Belgian beer from Steenbrugge, the independent family-run brewery with two locations, one in Eemshaven, the other in Liesout. The brewery labels all represent the patron saint of brewers, S. Arnoldo. The brewery adds "gruut" to beers, its own secret spice blend whose recipe has been handed down since the Middle Ages.

How is Blond produced?

This top-fermented beer is brewed with the addition of the brewery's "gruut".

Sight, nose, eye and palate

Golden in color, Blond is a Belgian Ale with a strong aromatic profile. Its taste opens on a sweet base with marked notes of ripe fruit, citrus peel and spices (especially coriander), and a delicately smoky note.

What do you combine the Blond with?

The ideal combination of this beer is with fish, even raw.
