Description

Grattamacco Bianco Vermentino is a Tuscan white wine made from pure Vermentino grapes. Coming from one of the most suitable areas of the Bolgheri denomination, this wine expresses the identity of the Grattamacco hill thanks to its unique terroir and artisanal care in production. The position of the vineyards, overlooking the sea and caressed by constant breezes, contributes to the quality and freshness of the product.

The grapes come from historic vineyards located 100 meters above sea level, on soils rich in white clays and calcareous marl flysch. The organic management of the vineyard respects the environment and enhances the natural characteristics of the territory. The vinification takes place one third in barriques and the remaining part in steel tanks. The wine matures for six months on the fine lees, with frequent bâtonnage, before being bottled.

In the glass, it presents a bright straw yellow color. The aromatic profile is broad and complex, with hints of ripe fruit, floral notes, and briny nuances. On the palate, it is balanced and dynamic, with a pleasant freshness and a mineral vein accompanying a long and persistent finish.

Perfectly paired with fish dishes, shellfish, and fresh cheeses.
