Description
Produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, Jean-Marc Vincent's Bourgogne Blanc originates from the vineyards of the Côte de Beaune, particularly in Santenay, with plots also in Auxey-Duresses, Puligny-Montrachet, and Montagny. The vines boast over sixty years of age and represent a viticultural heritage of rare quality. Founded by Jean-Marc and Anne-Marie Vincent in 1997, the company continues the vision initiated by their grandfather André Bardollet-Bravard, establishing itself today among the most prestigious names in Burgundy.
Agronomic management has been oriented towards organic methods since 2003 and involves high planting densities. This philosophy stimulates competition among the vines, resulting in superior quality clusters. In the winery, attention to detail translates into the use of gravity for moving the musts, delicate pressing for the whites, and a long aging on lees in barrique, to best express the character of the terroir.
In the glass, it expresses itself with a rich bouquet of fruity aromas reminiscent of freshly picked fruit, accompanied by a pleasant mineral freshness. On the palate, it is distinguished by its juicy fullness and depth, balanced by an excellent compositional harmony that leaves a long and pleasant persistence after each sip.
It is an ideal wine to pair with fish dishes, shellfish, and delicate white meats, especially in preparations enriched with creamy sauces.
