Description
Bourgogne Côte d’Or Pinot Noir by François Mikulski is made from plots cultivated by the Mikulski family on a total area of 1.30 hectares. The vines, planted in 1929 and 1980 and located at the bottom of the slope, exclusively produce Pinot Noir grapes.
The soil consists of fine alluvial sediments of fluvial origin, characteristic of the lower part of the Côte d’Or, which give the wine freshness and immediacy. After fermentation, the wine matures in oak barrels for about ten months, followed by two months in vat before bottling, to harmonize structure and fruit without invasive woody overlays.
The wine presents a fresh and straightforward profile. On the nose, aromas of crunchy red berries emerge, accompanied by light spicy nuances. On the palate, it is balanced and smooth, with a delicate tannic texture and a pleasant persistence that make it an accessible and versatile Pinot Noir.
Excellent paired with grilled meats or simple traditional dishes.
