Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2017 Baricci
Description
The estate is located north of the village of Montalcino, in the Montosoli area, which has always been famous for the refined elegance of its wines. The poor and stony soils are perfect for Sangiovese, which produces few bunches of excellent quality.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with a maceration on the skins for about three weeks. The Brunello ages for at least 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and ends the long period of refinement in the bottle.
Very elegant, it has a beautiful ruby red color, with aromas of morello cherry, red berried fruits, hints of spice and undergrowth. With a good structure, it has lively tannins and well integrated into the generous body of the wine, which gives a deep and complex sip with a fresh and mineral finish.
To combine with roasts and game on the spit.
