Description
Conti Costanti's Brunello di Montalcino comes from vineyards located in the heart of Montalcino. The Conti Costanti winery had been cultivating vineyards in this area since the seventh century, perfectly representing the Montalcino winemaking tradition.
It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested during the first week of October. Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 48 months, of which 18 months in tonneaux, 18 months in barrique, and for a further 12 months in bottle.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a bouquet full of red fruit aromas, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is dry, pleasantly warm and robust. The wine has a persistent and slightly tannic body.
Perfect to accompany red meats, game and roasts, it is ideal as a meditation wine.
