Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva from Poggio di Sotto is a Tuscan wine made from pure Sangiovese grapes, produced exclusively in the best vintages. This wine represents the pinnacle of the company's quality, thanks to a rigorous selection of the most expressive Brunello cask and limited production that often coincides with a single vineyard. The vineyards extend between 180 and 400 meters above sea level, with soils that vary from skeleton-rich to predominantly clay and marl, depending on the climate pattern of the vintage.

Vinification is followed by a prolonged aging of 40 months in large oak barrels, after which only the cask that stands out for elegance and complexity continues the journey to the Riserva. This process concludes with bottling, carried out after additional months of maturation, giving the wine a profile of great finesse and longevity.

Visually, it presents a bright and intense ruby red color. The bouquet is wide and layered, with a range of sensations alternating between fruity, floral, spicy, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is austere and deep, characterized by a fine and persistent tannic texture, accompanied by a remarkable harmony between the aromatic and tactile components.

It pairs perfectly with structured dishes of red meat and game.
