Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva by Terre Nere is produced in the heart of Tuscany with 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes. The grapes come from vineyards located at 280 meters of altitude with a southeast exposure, on soils predominantly composed of dark galestro and sandstone. This wine represents the excellence of Montalcino, the result of careful selection in the best vintages and the passion of a winery rooted in the winemaking tradition of the territory.

After the manual harvest, the wine ferments for 40 days with maceration in stainless steel vats, followed by 4 years of aging in oak barrels and 2 years in the bottle.

It presents a bright and shiny garnet color. The aroma is elegant and complex, with hints of ripe red fruit, tobacco, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with fine and persistent tannins, good structure, and a long, balanced, and round finish.

Ideal with important roasts, stewed or grilled red meats, and aged cheeses.
