Description

Brunello di Montalcino Schiena d'Asino di Mastrojanni comes to light in the homonymous Cru, located in the heart of the municipality of Montalcino, renowned for the production of great red wines with the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG denomination.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperature, then subjected to an aging of 36 months in Allier oak barrels and for another 12 months in bottle before being placed on the market.

Intense concentrated and bright red in color, Brunello Schiena d'Asino expresses hints of ripe red fruit on the nose which, in a second moment, give way to balsamic notes and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is noble and austere, pleasantly sapid and voluminous.

Excellent to serve with game, it is perfect as a meditation wine.
