Description
This Brunello di Montalcino is produced by the Tassi winery, a Tassi family company with vineyards located on the slopes of the ancient Velona manor.
It is made exclusively of Sangiovese grapes, which are vinified in non-vitrified concrete tanks and with indigenous yeasts, with a maceration of 15-20 days. The aging takes place in medium wooden barrels for 36 months.
Ruby red in color with garnet reflections, it opens on the nose with aromas of red fruit, plum and spices. In the mouth it is dry and warm, with fine tannins and excellent persistence.
It pairs well with game stew and mature cheeses.
