Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Vigneto Poggio Doria was born in the Tenute Nardi vineyards in Montalcino.

It is made in purity with Sangiovese grapes, harvested manually in the second week of October. Fermentation and maceration take place at controlled temperature. The wine evolves for 18 months in French oak tonneaux and then passes for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. Follows the refinement in the bottle for 3 years.

It has an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose is extremely complex, with aromas of red fruit to which are added spicy notes of cloves and vanilla and mineral hints of graphite. On the palate it shows persistent soft notes up to the refined finish characterized by thick and velvety tannins.

Perfect in combination with red meats, game and stewed meats.
