Description

An excellence of the Tuscan land, which was born in a splendid Montalcino farm. The estate is located near the Val d'Orcia, south of the small village of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, in an area of the Montalcino area blessed by a particularly mild climate with almost Mediterranean nuances.

It comes from a rigorous selection of the healthiest and most mature Sangiovese grapes, coming from the most suitable plots of the estate. The choice in the vineyard is followed by a selection in the cellar that precedes the vinification with long maceration on the skins. The wine ages for over 40 months in oak barrels and completes the refinement period with about 2 years in the bottle.

It is an intense and structured Brunello. Ruby red in color, it seduces by the extraordinary complexity of the aromas, which range from morello cherry to wild berries, from medicinal herbs to spices, from woody hints to balsamic touches. The sip is long and complex, with a harmonious and very persistent finish.

To be paired with roast game, cut of Chianina or Florentine steak.
