Campania IGT Bianco Costacielo 2015 Lunarossa

Campania Costacielo Bianco di Lunarossa was born in vineyards located in Giffoni Valle Piana, close to the Picentini Mountains, in the province of Salerno.

It is mainly obtained from Fiano grapes with small additions of Falanghina grapes, harvested by hand in the months of September and October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in steel for the first 6 months, part of the Fiano in barriques for 3 months, and in bottle for another 6 months, before being released on the market.

The Costacielo Bianco di Lunarossa has an intense golden-yellow color with bright green reflections. The nose opens with a complex scent of tropical fruit and intense floral scents, accompanied by evident notes of hazelnut. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh and structured, slightly sapid.

Ideal to accompany fish dishes such as grilled fish, this white wine is perfect to combine with pasta and risotto with fish, vegetables and fried fish. Excellent also with aged cheeses.
