Description

Vulcanus Tempranillo by Encomienda de Cervera is a red wine from Campo de Calatrava, an area with a strong geological identity thanks to its volcanic origin. Made from Tempranillo grapes grown on the slopes of an ancient volcano, it expresses a bold and authentic character, the result of the interaction between soil, climate, and grape variety.

The vinification process includes 4 months of aging in French oak barriques, which adds structure and complexity to the wine. The cultivation follows sustainable practices with respect for the environment, according to the principles of bio-ecological agriculture, enhancing the uniqueness of the volcanic clay soils.

In the glass, it shows a deep and intense red color. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe red fruit and spices, accompanied by toasted vanilla notes from the wood. On the palate, it is round, with great body, easy to drink, and with a long, pleasant finish.

It pairs perfectly with traditional cuisine, especially with meats, stews, and game.
