Description

El Galayo Rosado is a rosé wine produced by Sociedad Agraria de Viticultores de Cebreros in the Sierra de Gredos, made from a blend of Garnacha and Albillo Real from old high-altitude vineyards cultivated on granite soils. This wine emerges from mountain viticulture, with low yields and a wide variety of soils, expressing the fresh and authentic character of this unique region.

The winemaking process involves a spontaneous maceration and fermentation for 3 days in cement tanks with indigenous yeasts. After racking and pressing, fermentation continues without skins, and the wine ages on fine lees for three months, still in cement, achieving aromatic complexity and structure while maintaining notable freshness.

In appearance, it is a bright raspberry color with violet reflections. The nose is intense and dominated by red fruit aromas. On the palate, it is direct, fresh, fleshy, and persistent, with a vibrant character that makes it particularly enjoyable and refreshing.

Perfectly pairs with fish dishes, white meats, grilled vegetables, or delicate cold cuts.
