Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC Anfora 2016 Cirelli
Description
The Cerasuolo Anfora di Cirelli is produced in the hills of the province of Teramo from vineyards owned and rented.
Cirelli cultivates his lands according to an organic farming method. The harvest of the Montepulciano grapes, which make up this Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo alone, takes place manually. Vinification is started by indigenous yeasts and involves an initial phase of a short maceration on the skins. It ends with an aging of about 12 months in terracotta amphorae.
Pink cherry, at sight. Its scent is sunny and fruity: reminiscent of strawberry, cherry, pomegranate and a citrus note of blood orange that fades in the finish. In the mouth it is juicy, full-bodied and very fresh.
In combination with a good Neapolitan pizza.
