Summary
- Champagne AOC Cordon Bleu, 0.75 ℓ
- n. 2 flutes
Description
De Venoge is a historic Maison located in the Champagne of Epernay. The Brut Cordon Bleu carries within it a reference to the ancient Order of the Holy Spirit, the most prestigious order of chivalry of the French monarchy, whose members wore a blue ribbon called precisely "Cordon Bleu".
It is composed of 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and the remaining 25% Pinot Meunier, with the use of a total of 25% Reserve wines. It is then left on the lees for 3 years, but this is only the beginning of a possible bottle aging process that this Champagne would be able to sustain.
The liveliness of the perlage amplifies the olfactory stamp of white flowers, delicate yellow-fleshed fruit, butter and notes of dry pastry. The fresh-savoury finish fits discreetly into a frame of rounded softness and persists in a very balanced memory.
Perfect for livening up aperitifs with friends or for enhancing a vegetable flan.
