Description
The Champagne Brut Esprit de Baron-Fuenté is produced in the Vallée de la Marne region, in Charly-sur-Marne, where the Baron-Fuenté company directly cultivates 40 hectares of vineyards. This Champagne is made from a blend of Meunier and Chardonnay, harmoniously expressing the typicality of the Meunier combined with the refinement of the Chardonnay. It is a cuvée that embodies the tradition of the area and the distinctive character of the local grapes.
The winemaking involves an alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C, to preserve the freshness and fragrance of the fruit. Malolactic fermentation is completed to soften the taste profile, and the second fermentation in the bottle occurs according to the champenoise method with an aging on the lees for at least 24 months. The moderate use of sulfites and the strict control of the timing between harvest and pressing ensure a raw material of the highest quality.
In appearance, it is a light gold color with fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with a discreet and elegant bouquet, with notes of brioche, candied fruit, and honey. On the palate, it is soft and flexible, with great balance, purity, and elegance, offering a round sensation and a refined structure.
Ideal for an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with a casual toast among friends or to accompany a convivial moment outdoors.
