Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru AOC Cuvée des Caudalies De Sousa

The Champagne Brut Grand Cru Cuvée des Caudalies by De Sousa is a Blanc de Blanc composed of 100% Chardonnay. The vines are more than 60 years old, with deep roots that sink into the particularly suitable chalky soils. The De Sousa maison produces wines following organic and biodynamic agriculture.

The grape harvest is manual. The Chardonnay is vinified entirely in oak barrels. A small percentage of reserve wine dating back to 1995 is added. The champagne ages on the lees for at least 48 months.

Golden and bright yellow, with fine and persistent perlage. The nose is elegant and is characterized by its aromas of ripe tropical fruit, brioche and chalk, as well as a well-integrated shade of wood. The sip is creamy and stands out for its harmonious structure. Long persistence in the mouth.

It can be combined with seafood and crustaceans, even with caviar blinis, semi-aged and aged cheeses.
