Description
The Chianti Petriolo Coats of Arms of the Petriolo Farm was born in vineyards located on the hills of Rignano sull'Arno, in the province of Florence.
It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with Canaiolo Nero grapes, rigorously harvested by hand between the end of September and the first half of October. After careful selection in the vineyard, the grapes ferment with maceration on the skins for about 10 days at controlled temperature. The wine then matures in steel and ages in bottle before being marketed.
It has a ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant and full hints including notes of violet and nuances of red berry fruits. In the mouth it is harmonious, dry and sapid, with a light tannins and good structure.
Perfect in combination with first courses and meats, both white and red, it is ideal to accompany cold cuts, cold cuts and medium-textured cheeses.
