Description

The I Terzieri box produced by Geografico tells about three declinations of Sangiovese coming from municipalities formerly called 'Terzieri' and corresponding to the current areas of Radda, Gaiole and Castellina in Chianti.

From Radda in Chianti comes the Terziere di Tramontana, Sangiovese produced from vineyards with an average age of 15 years and aged 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months. Produced with grapes from Gaiole, the Terziere di Levante is produced with vines of the same average age and capable of producing a wine aged 12 months in medium toasted Allier barrels. The age of the vineyards grown in the Castellina in Chianti area to produce the Terziere di Ponente is more advanced.

Terziere Tramontano has a bewitching ruby color with notes of currant and raspberry, black cherry and tobacco. Intense, fresh and accompanied by a pleasant savory note. by a stunning freshness, soon reached by a delicious savory note. Beautiful ruby color for the Terziere Levante , with hints of black cherry, berries and black pepper, while the tannin is vivid for a juicy and intense sip, with lively balsamic notes. The selection closes with the Terziere Ponente , ruby in color with purple reflections, red fruits on the nose such as strawberries and raspberries. On the palate it retains a beautiful floral freshness, for a clean and dry sip.

All are to be tasted for a perfect Chianti Classico experience and to discover their extreme versatility when accompanied by red meat dishes and tasty first courses of Mediterranean cuisine.
