Chianti Classico DOCG 2016 Borgo Salcetino

The Chianti Classico of Borgo Salcetino was born in the splendid vineyards of the company, located in Radda in Chianti.

This wine is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, harvested entirely by hand in boxes. After a maceration on the skins lasting 21 days at controlled temperatures, the must passes into wooden barrels, where it matures for 12 months. Bottle refinement follows.

The Chianti Classico of Borgo Sacentino has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose is intense, with fruity notes of raspberries and cherries that dominate the scene. In the mouth it shows a good structure, with the fruity aromas perceived by the nose which recur in the persistent finish.

It goes very well with well-aged cheeses and typical salami such as finocchiona. Also excellent with grilled meats.
