Chianti Classico DOCG Capotondo 2015 Castelvecchi

The Chianti Classico Capotondo of Castelvecchi was born in vineyards located on the highest hills of Radda in Chianti.

It is produced with Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. The fermentation is accompanied by a medium-term maceration. Afterwards the wine ages in steel with a passage in large barrels.

Capotondo di Castelvecchi is characterized by a bright ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with a pleasant freshness, with hints of red fruit. On the palate it is fruity, soft, with a good and balanced structure.

It is a whole meal wine. Perfect to accompany baked red meats and medium-aged cheeses.
