Chianti Classico DOCG Contessa di Radda 2016
Description
The Chianti Classico Contessa di Radda di Geografico was born in vineyards located in the Sienese municipality of Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the DOCG Chianti Classico.
It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Canaiolo and Colorino grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. After the classic red winemaking processes, the wine ages for 16 months in oak barrels and for another 2 months in the bottle before being released on the market.
It has a ruby red color. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of violet. On the palate it is dry and balanced, slightly tannic.
Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
