Description
The Chianti Classico of Fattoria Vignavecchia was born in vineyards located in Radda in Chianti, the extraordinary territory known for the production of prestigious wines.
It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with Merlot grapes, harvested only by hand during the first week of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 6-7 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in stainless steel tanks and partly in barrique, and for a further 2 months in bottle.
This Chianti Classico is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant aromas of red fruits, enriched with delicate floral notes and pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is pleasantly balanced, with a full body and a persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with first courses and aged cheeses.
