Description
The Chianti Classico Riserva Villa Montignana di Coli was born in vineyards located in Villa Montignana, in the heart of the municipality of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa.
It is produced with Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Ciliegiolo and Mammolo grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in bottle for about 6 months before being released on the market.
It is characterized by a lively ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a large, intense and persistent bouquet, with ethereal hints of cherries and blackberries. On the palate it is fine, elegant and pleasantly velvety. The wine has a good structure and delicate tannins, with a pleasant persistent aftertaste.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with red meats and aged cheeses.
