Rocca di Montegrossi's Chianti Classico is produced in Gaiole in Chianti, the historic heart of Chianti Classico, from a blend mainly of Sangiovese with small percentages of Canaiolo and Colorino, cultivated according to certified organic farming principles; it represents an authentic expression of the region, skillfully combining typicity, elegance, and stylistic consistency.
Vinification takes place with temperature-controlled fermentation in steel to preserve aromatic integrity and expressive precision; this is followed by aging in vitrified cement tanks and large French oak casks, a process that allows the wine to develop structure and balance while maintaining its vibrant fruity and regional character.
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby red color; on the nose, it expresses aromas of fresh cherry, berries and subtle floral notes, complemented by spicy nuances and delicate balsamic hints; the palate is harmonious and dynamic, with well-defined tannins, pleasant freshness and a persistent, savory finish.
It pairs perfectly with pasta dishes featuring meat sauces, roasts, grilled meats, and medium-aged cheeses, enhancing their flavors with balance and elegance.
