Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Sicelle 2013 Pasolini dall'Onda

The Chianti Classico Riserva Sicelle was born in the wine reality of the Pasolini dall'Onda winery, located in the extraordinary panorama of Barberino Val d'Elsa, in Tuscany.

It is produced 90% from Sangiovese grapes and 10% from Merlot grapes, selected and harvested entirely by hand towards the second decade of October. After a soft pressing, the vinification takes place at a controlled temperature of 25-28 ° C for 8 days, followed by permanence on the skins for 20-25 days. Subsequently the wine is stored for 12 months in barrique and for a further 6 months in small Slavonian oak barrels. The refinement takes place for about 10 months in the bottle.

The Chianti Classico Riserva Sicelle is characterized by an intense ruby red color with luminous reflections tending towards garnet. The nose opens with typically fruity aromas and gives a finish of soft tannins. On the palate it is well structured, enveloping, elegant and delicate with an aromatic aftertaste that gives freshness.

Perfect to accompany cold cuts and cold cuts, ideal in combination with aged cheeses and grilled red meat.
