Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG Foss' A Spina 2012 Tenuta Il Corno

The Chianti Colli Fiorentini Foss' A Spina of Tenuta Il Corno was born in vineyards located in the heart of the Val di Pesa, in the cellar built in the XII century by an ancient Florentine family, of Pistoia origin, the Del Corno.

It is produced 85% with Sangiovese grapes, 10% with Colorino grapes and 5% with Canaiolo grapes, harvested during the first half of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28-30 ° C for 15-18 days. Subsequently, the wine ages in concrete tanks before being bottled.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with a fresh and vinous bouquet, with hints of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is soft, pleasantly dry, with a balanced, tannic and elegant body.

Perfect to accompany dishes based on meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with red meats and aged cheeses.
