Description
The Chianti Colli Senesi Caspagnolo is a wine that comes to life from the vineyards of Villa Poggio Salvi located in Monteriggioni, in the province of Siena.
Sangiovese 90% and Merlot for the remaining 10%, ferment in steel tanks at a temperature between 28 and 30 ° C for 10-12 days. It still ages for a short time in steel and for another 3-4 months in the bottle.
Ruby red, with a beautiful brightness. The olfactory profile is composed of hints reminiscent of currants and violet. The sip is characterized by a warm and well balanced flavor, with an ease of drinking that is supported by the softness of the tannins.
The most suitable combinations are to be found in elaborate and important first courses or in roasted white meats.
