Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva DOCG 2013 Le Torri

The Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva of the Le Torri winery comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Barberino Val d'Elsa, in the province of Florence.

This wine is the result of a skilful blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Colorino varieties, with manual grape harvest. Vinification takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 27-28 ° C for days. Subsequently the wine ages in steel and in oak barriques for 6 months, and for a further 3 months in bottle before being placed on the market.

The Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva Le Torri has a ruby red color that tends to garnet with aging. The nose opens with intense aromas of black currant, cherry and plum, enhanced by hints of wild flowers and spices. A wine of great harmony between the alcoholic and tannic components, it is particularly pleasant and fresh.

Ideal with pasta with meat sauces, stewed meats and roasts, it goes very well with lamb and aged cheeses.
