Cirò DOC Classico Superiore 2013 A' Vita

The Cirò Rosso Classico Superiore of the A 'Vita company comes from organically managed vineyards located in the historic area of Cirò, which overlook the shores of the Ionian Sea.

It is made entirely from Gaglioppo grapes, harvested at the end of September. After a 5-day maceration on the skins, fermentation begins spontaneously in steel vats. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers for 18 months before being bottled.

It assumes a ruby red color in the glass. On the nose it has delicate aromas of red fruits, among which strawberry and cherry stand out, followed by vegetal and spicy notes. On the palate it is gentle but at the same time a wine of character, fruity and well structured.

Superb in the company of red meats in general, it gives the best of itself paired with lamb.
