Description

Cirò Rosso Classico Segno Librandi is a Calabrian red wine produced in the territories of Cirò and Cirò Marina, an authentic expression of the native Gaglioppo grape. Sourced from clay- and limestone-rich soils and from high-density vineyards, it pays homage to the area’s winemaking tradition. Its identity is reflected in the appellation’s classic style, with a bold, place-driven character.

Vinification takes place in stainless steel with a short maceration of 3–5 days, followed by aging, also in stainless steel, and an additional period of bottle rest before release. This production approach aims to preserve the freshness and varietal typicity of Gaglioppo, highlighting its most genuine traits without any wood influence.

In appearance it shows a bright ruby-red color. On the nose, intense and pleasing aromas recall Mediterranean scrub, with notes of red fruits, aromatic herbs, and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate it is balanced, with well-integrated tannins and a clean, persistent finish that echoes its Mediterranean origins.

It pairs beautifully with dishes from traditional Calabrian cuisine such as oven-roasted kid or aged cured meats.
