Description
The Cirò Rosso Classico Segno Librandi is a red Calabrian wine produced in the territory of Cirò and Cirò Marina, an authentic expression of the native Gaglioppo grape. Coming from clay and limestone soils and vineyards with a high planting density, it is a tribute to the winemaking tradition of the area. Its identity reflects the classic type of the denomination, with a decisive and territorial character.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel with a short maceration of 3-5 days, followed by aging, also in stainless steel, with an additional period of bottle aging before marketing. This production process aims to preserve the freshness and varietal typicality of Gaglioppo, enhancing its most genuine characteristics without the intervention of wood.
Visually, it presents a bright ruby red color. The nose reveals intense and pleasant aromas reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrub, with notes of red fruits, aromatic herbs, and light spicy nuances. On the palate, it is balanced, with well-integrated tannins and a clean and persistent finish that recalls its Mediterranean origin.
It pairs excellently with traditional Calabrian dishes such as roast goat or cured meats.
