Description

It is another Burgundy best seller, the Grand Cru Clos Saint Denis. We are in the Côte de Nuits France, where viticulture has established itself over the years for an exceptional finesse and elegance, which can boast few equals in the world of wine.

It consists of 100% Pinot Noir grapes, harvested from a half-hectare vineyard cultivated according to an organic farming method. After having carried out the alcoholic fermentation in steel, the wine ages in oak barrels for a period ranging from 16 to 18 months.

Remember, on the nose, dark fruits such as blackberry and blueberry. The floral background leaves room for some traces of leather and licorice, and then fades to a spicy hint. The taste shows its strength, which is never excessive but, on the contrary, knows how to express itself in the discreet key of an elegant tannin and a beautiful freshness.

Excellent to accompany a meat stew, both beef and game.
