Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT Colorino del Corno 2007 Tenuta Il Corno

The Colli Della Toscana Centrale Colorino del Corno from Tenuta Il Corno was born in vineyards located in the heart of the Val di Pesa, in the cellar built in the XII century by an ancient Florentine family, of Pistoia origin, the Del Corno.

It is produced exclusively with Colorino grapes, harvested during the middle of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 10-12 months before being bottled.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a large and complex bouquet, with hints of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of pepper, tobacco and cocoa. On the palate it is soft, pleasantly lively, with a tannic, balanced and elegant body.

Perfect to accompany game, red meats and aged cheeses, it is ideal as a meditation wine.
