Product details
Colli Maceratesi DOC Ribona 2011 Fontezoppa
Description
Ribona was born in the vineyards of the Fontezoppa company, located in the Colli Maceratsesi denomination. Ribona is the other name used to define the native grape variety Maceratino, grown only in the province of Macerata.
This wine is in fact produced with only Maceratino grapes, selected and harvested by hand. After a white vinification and aging in steel, the product completes the aging process in glass for about 12 months before being put on the market.
Ribona di Fontezoppa has a very intense straw yellow color. The nose shows a good organoleptic complexity, with very captivating textures of anise, citrus peel, peach and yellow flowers, enriched with very delicate mineral notes on the finish. In the mouth it shows great balance and a good structure, with a strong acidity that gives it excellent longevity.
Try it with elaborate fish and white meat dishes. Also excellent with well-aged cheeses, with soft and hard paste.
