Description
Chardonnay is produced by the Antico Borgo dei Colli company, located in the Friulian Collio and precisely in Prepotto. The vineyards are located in the Judrio valley, on the border with the Italian and Slovenian Collio.
The Chardonnay grapes are softly pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation. The aging on the fine lees lasts 4-5 months.
Straw yellow in color with golden hues, it is expressed on the nose with aromas of exotic fruit such as mango, pineapple and banana. The sip is warm and aromatic, with a persistent finish.
Excellent both with appetizers and with first courses based on fish, vegetables or white meat sauce.
