Description
Pinot Grigio is produced by the Antico Borgo dei Colli company, located in the Friulian Collio and precisely in Prepotto. The vineyards are located in the Judrio valley, on the border with the Italian and Slovenian Collio.
The Pinot Grigio grapes undergo a partial fermentation on the skins for 2-3 days in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. They are then softly pressed. The wine ages in steel and cement tanks on its fine lees for 6 months.
Coppery pink in color, it is expressed on the nose with aromas of roses and red fruit. The sip is dry and intense, with a persistent finish.
Excellent with raw fish, shellfish, fried fish and vegetarian cuisine.
