Colli Tortonesi DOC Pitasso 2016 Claudio Mariotto

Timorasso Pitasso is an autochthonous white that originates in the Piedmontese area of the Colli Tortonesi.

The grapes used, Timorasso in purity, come from the Pitasso vineyard of the same name, located near the town of Vho di Tortona at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. It is the result of a vinification entirely conducted in steel, with aging for a few months on the noble lees .

The eye is presented in a straw-yellow hue. The bouquet is fruity and floral, with references to honey in the background. The taste is fresh, sapid and with a good taste-olfactory correspondence. An excellent structure elevates the floral notes that are released on the sip.

Perfect for the whole meal, it is ideal with shellfish and white meats, or at the end of dinner, for meditation. Try it with a grilled lake fish.
