Description

Timorasso Derthona originates in the Piedmontese land of the Colli Tortonesi, in the province of Alessandria.

It consists of 100% Timorasso grapes. Once harvested, it is softly pressed and the must obtained is left to ferment inside steel tanks. Within them it carries out the refinement phase which lasts about 8 months in contact with its own yeasts. For another 7 months it ages in the bottle, then becoming ready for marketing.

It shows a straw yellow color. The nose offers hints of yellow fruit and white flowers, enhanced by a mineral trail capable of evolving over time and integrating with tertiary scents. The sip is fresh and fruity, balanced and full-bodied. Rich in aromas and structure, it closes in a finish of great persistence.

Ideal in combination with a risotto with peppers and taleggio.
