Description
The Colli Tortonesi Timorasso Il Montino was born in vineyards located in the small village of Vho, in the Tortonese area, in the heart of Piedmont.
It is produced exclusively with Timorasso grapes. After destemming, cryomaceration takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 2 ° C for 36-48 hours, where the skins give the must aromas and tannins accumulated during maturation. Subsequently the wine ages in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature on the noble lees.
It is characterized by an intense golden yellow color. The nose opens with an intense and complex bouquet, with elegant hints of peach, enriched with pleasant floral notes of acacia and hawthorn flowers. On the palate it is dry, pleasantly warm and soft. The wine has a balanced and persistent body.
Perfect to accompany red meats and vegetables, it is ideal in combination with cold cuts, fresh and aged cheeses.
