Description
The Colline Lucchesi Rosso Levato di Majulina di Calafata comes to light from organic and biodynamic vineyards, located in Maolina, in the province of Lucca.
It is produced with Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo and Aleatico grapes, with small additions of other native vines, harvested between the last ten days of August and the first week of September. The must ferments in tubs with a maceration of 12-14 days and ages for 2 years between steel and cement tanks.
The Levato di Majulina of Calafata wears a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is intense and fruity, with notes of raspberries and strawberries that mix with pleasant hints of red flowers. The taste includes sensations of freshness and juiciness, which accompany towards a pleasantly soft and persistent finish.
