Description

The Colline Teramane Riserva Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Opi di Fantini Farnese was born in the Cantalupo estate, organically run, located in the municipality of Notaresco, in the province of Teramo.

It is produced entirely with Montepulciano grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, for 25 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in French and American wooden barrels, before being bottled.

It has a garnet red color. The nose opens with intense and ethereal spicy aromas, including tobacco and licorice, enriched with notes of ripe red fruit and in alcohol. On the palate it is soft and balanced, full-bodied and persistent.

Perfect to accompany rich first courses and red meats, it is ideal in combination with medium and long-aged cheeses
